Welcome to the Bowen State School P&C website.  Bowen State School has an active and enthusiastic Parents and Citizens' Association who meet once a month during term. The Association strives to promote the educational welfare and interests of the School by:

• encouraging close cooperation among parents, pupils, teaching staff and the community;
• stimulating the interest of members in the School and in educational developments.
• providing a canteen service in the school
• providing desirable aids to education and supplementing the material requirements of the School.

Our meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month.  Meetings are held in the Library from 6.45pm for 7.00pm start.  Meetings are very informal and usually run for approximately 2 hours, with tea and coffee provided.  Attendance at our meetings is a great opportunity to find out more about what is happening in the school, its future plans and how these will affect your child and your family.  It is also an a venue for parents to voice concerns, raise issues and discuss ideas both with the Principal and with other parents. 

Please consider joining the P&C and getting involved in the School .  It’s also a great chance to have some valuable input into the school and to meet and socialise with other parents and staff members.
